I'll definitely get it.
To the haters: if you don't have the cash to support an indie game studio you shouldn't play indie games anyway. Lots of f2p games you can spew such nonsense at.

I am moderately positive. The activity is lower than what I would expect for this release, but I believe once the game develops and people realize it's actually good they will come sooner or later.
Soldat 2 feels a lot like Soldat 1, for those who worry about getting into a new game it feels more like a continuation.
If I were you I would get in on it now to be able to contribute to shape it into what you want, devs still take suggestions in discord channel.
The graphics you might see in some gameplay videos is NOT maximum at all, it's actually pretty gorgeous with the right settings.
Soldat 2 right now has a lot more potential than Soldat 1, because MM is working hard and fast on it, because it's newer built with less spaghetti code, because newer features is in place and will be more easy to implement. It even has controller support that I might actually use
Are you really bothered about the 10 dollars the game costs? Considering you have probably played Soldat 1 for some years for free I'd say it's a pretty good price.

There's a huge disparity between calling bullshit on people who criticise the game is not F2P and what you said. This guy seriously is calling me a kid and spams smileys throughout his post while having the reading comprehension skill of a toddler. Hilarious.

I don't quite feel the urge to play this new game, but I think I'll buy it as a way to say thank you for all the countless hours of free fun I've with Soldat. Who knows? I might wake up one day and really feel like I want to play Soldat 2.

I haven't played in a long time, but was impressed by soldat 2. Physics seem spot on, like the customization, gun physics are pretty close and even more responsive. Played with my buddy who also hasn't played in a decade and its just as fast pace as ever. I think for the first build it feels very good. 10/10 thank you MM. Can't wait to see it after a year.
No idea where these complaints about 15$ comes from? I mean you get paid that in one hour working McDonalds in the US.

Sequel never came in time to build off the popularity of the original, and the hands off approach and preceived drama towards the end of the game's life cycle surely didn't help. I was happy to see this be a thing just now, and I'll be purchasing and trying it out in just a moment, but I think the field is rather crowded now, so Soldat may have a more difficult time cultivating a regular audience.
I play a lot of Rocket League, and the big push for that game was the free release on PlayStation Plus. I think if Soldat can get itself on Game Pass or some other service that'll ensure it gets the eyes it needs, then it'll help move things along. Up to MM if that's worthwhile trying, of course, but I think the Soldat brand has been dormant for too long and needs some kind of similar big splash to reestablish itself and get the word out.
Regardless of its future success, the game looks fantastic! Can't wait to try it out!

The Rehaul patch is dropping NEXT WEEK! Wednesday 13 April.
This patch contains 14 months of development and everything in the game has been tweaked or overhauled! Introducing new things as well such as mapping and in-game matchmaking

Holy shit! I thought the game was dead since it's been ages since I've played it so I was wondering if my old key would still work.
I'll still give it a try at Soldat 2 see if it brings back the memories.
