Please use your vote to reflect your opinion on a couple of things:
1) how long needs to be allowed for people to copy old threads (they will be unavailable for a while once we move the address)
2) how long you think is appropriate to use a temporary address
3) mainly the first one

It looks like people have already moved over everything. Isn't there a way to use forums.soldat.pl to redirect here, but leave the forums hidden there if someone really needs them?

not really. I would try to keep them online with another address, like old.forums.soldat.pl ... but I am very doubtful that that is possible with the current host's configuration. I'm more likely to make an archive utility that lets the text of all of the old forums be searched in some crappy looking web page.

I would say in 1 week or now/soon because you dont want to be known for this address you want to be known for www.soldatforum.com.

You can always look through the archives of the old soldat forums by going to http://www.archive.org/index.php
Thats how i saw the OTHER old soldat forums.

Stick with the U13 domain as long as it can be stretched, please. I'm still gathering map data from the old place.

The forums.soldat.pl domain is bound to attract more visitors. I'll hurry Flies up with the archiving utility and hopefully we'll get something cooked up soon.

would'n placing an index.html that redirects automatically to http://forums.soldat.pl/ be a good temporarly solution so you can still acces the old forums trough http://forums.soldat.pl/default.asp

Serial, take a look at what I currently have at http://forums.soldat.pl
I don't want to have an automatic forwarder because that may confuse people who had no idea we were moving to new forums. I'd rather let them select, just like I did there ;)

Are you sure? You could spice up that page with a little fuschia, some textual Feng Shui, and a few of those cute little icons that are in style these days.
