Ok, I´ve been trying to get perfect models for guns and I ``accidently'' made this: Proton Cannon

Its inspired by the Proton Cannon used by the ''Warmachine'' guy from one capcom arcade game.
Also I've been improving the gostek gfx.
Tell me what you think.
Also, Im not sure what maps should I make. I mean the map concepts. (overall idea of the map.)
Give me request or/ and a scetch picture of the map.

How 'bout a map featuring Teleporters (http://wiki.soldat.nl/Polybug#The_.22Teleport.22_Polybug)? So you could have a space map where if players get too low they get teleported to the top of the map.

Download the mod! :P It answers your questions—those are blast effects. The corpse is on fire.
Awesome graphic. Try going for regular DMs in Lord_Ivahn's asteroids map style, with planetary backgrounds. ;D

SMALL POLL:Should I make the current weapon mod stronger or keep it the same?
Low damage: tactical killing
High damage: fast killing

Good idea, but ill have to make a small planet scenery which will have to be stretched because my PC cant handle huge sceneries in soldat.
SUGGEST A KNIFE REPLACEMENT!

Did you click on my link for Teleporters (http://wiki.soldat.nl/Polybug#The_.22Teleport.22_Polybug)? It's a polybug which can teleport a player straight up if done correctly. I'm not entirely sure how to do it, but the instructions seems easy enough: Create a jump pad on steroids. You could have a giant ship with energy elevators that transport players around, or black holes which teleport people, or it could be part of an anti-spawn camping thing, with the spawn being unreachable once you leave it so people could launch when ready.

A vertical DM? nah, Ctf? unbalanced, inf? maybe.
I need a concept.

The main concept of this map is: a huge snowy field with low visibility (fog) and a base on both sides for teams. Its ctf and its fully waypointed.
Tell me what you think. ;)

Okay, I whipped up an idea for that map with teleporters in Paint. I tried to be as clear as possible. Red stuff is Alpha's, blue stuff is Bravo's, square are the flags, light grey square is the white flag. Let me know if you need any clarification.

Nahh... I guess ill leave teleports out this time.
what about bots? you need to press A + D at the same time right before you hit the teleport.
These maps might not be played too much on servers because people play soldat coz its realistic/modern (IMO) and the ppl that dont use ERA will have a different feeling on the maps.
Maybe for LAN games or bots mostly. server games will be quite rare.
I also noticed when running a server with my maps and ppl quit joining the game because of the amount of downloading the scenery. But I cant remove that scenery because it will ruin the map right away.
But about my plans on other maps:
-tundra themed foggy ctf map with really low visibility.
-asteroid DM in a somekind of a galaxy scenery or a green fog cloud.
-a huge spacestation (abandoned) for RS. really dark.

Could you show us that minigun in it's original 1:1 size ? I think it's better to have an original view of the things we're seeing

I think you could make better the holes where the bullets get out, like the "hornet missle" of the "mecha soldat" mod

New DM map: Kyushu

A destoyed and abandoned station near a jumgate. theres a ZAFT carrier below the jumpgate.
Its waypointed.
Small question:
Is it possible to make teleporters shoot you downwards?

I did already, now waypointing is leftin the list. and its gonna take some time because it has lots of jet usage...
The bots will also be able to use jumpgates aswell. atleast its possible.
