Go the whole nine yards and make it really nerdy, even extend the box so you can fit in the really long names like:
"Warmongers pike of the tiger +5 agility, 36.5DPS, 2 handed Sword"
i think it would be funny and good if done by the right person...

World of Warcraft, only the biggest commercial MMORPG out there. Nothing special.
There really isn't a way to "extend" the "box," aside from making it completely transparent, and give a lot of horizontal space to the interface-gfx to mimic it. Then it wouldn't be transparent, tho'.

WoW is so strikingly disimilar, I don't understand why this was even suggested. :/
But hey, if someone manages to make something that works, then they've got to be a friggen genius.

Well, I suppose there would have to be a couple more melee weapons than there is now, but there could be a bow, crossbow, gun, and some sort of spell for ranged. It would probably require making a full mod though and not just reskinning and renaming the weapons.

Well, I think modding a 2D shooter with touches from an MMORPG simply sounds weird to me. The two games have nothing similar.

Actually its more like 15, but if you like good RPGs then you know it's well worth it.

I think he had a great idea, wow is a new way to mod soldat, because soldat can't be just weapons so we could replace them by powers or spells. That's what I'm working on in my mod: " Fantasy warriors ", if someone wants to help me, be free to ask.
EDIT: I think you could make infiltration maps with the theme: "siege" and make bots that speak like wow players like: "stfu noob"; "you're such a hacker"; "do you have a sword" or "can I join you're clan ? "

Well I don't think it would be right to expect Michal to make such a mod if he isn't into it, but theres no problem if someone else wants to. IMO this whole thing kind of sounded like a joke suggestion anyway.
