Title: Mega Man Mod 2.5 - released

The long-neglected update of my Mega Man mod has finally been completed.

Updates from 2.0:
-Axl Shot interface graphic and weapon graphics updated
-Shotgun Ice and Fire Wave graphics tweaked
-Beam Dagger changed to Tengu Blade -- Uses a custom animation made by Lord Ivahn for Mecha Soldat, with permission
-Dive Missile changed to Proto Buster
-Gunflares added/fixed/whatever
-Z-Saber graphics and sound heavily tweaked -- blade now only visible when in use
-Sparks made less dense to lessen the appearance of bleeding urine
-Rambo Bow, Stationary Gun and Team 2 gostek fixed -- Team 2 gostek now has a Vile helmet in place of the X one
-Ranny gostek slightly improved

Total list of what's modded:
-Gostek -- People into Reploids (robots, for the MM-illiterate)
-All weapons, with sounds
-Slashing animation to go with Tengu Blade, again, courtesy of Lord Ivahn, and is usable online
-Pickups
-Unregged interface
-Blood into sparks/small amounts of blood
-Explosion
-Plenty of other sound effects
-"X" bot included

Mr. T hair changed to a visor meant to go with helmets.
Helmet changed to Zero helmet.
Hat changed to X / Vile helmet.
Dog tags changed to red scarf. Gold chain changed to yellow scarf.

I guess those lists are more than enough content, so I'll skip my usual meaningless prattle. Enjoy the mod!

You're looking at the Socom replacement. It's the regular old uncharged Buster.

Woo!  Looks good.  I've been using you're older version for quite a bit now... I found it very nice how I could tell when some barreter was reloading.

Holy crap I was just playing MegaMan yesterday. Nice touch with the chip look on the weapons menu. I will d/l this one definitely.

I found it very nice how I could tell when some barreter was reloading.
Heh, this does change a few things like that. People are easier to hear because of that jumping sound, and the sound of the X Buster is a dead giveaway, but in this version, you can barely see a Z Saber unless it's being fired up. ...I think there was more than that, but I've forgotten for the moment.

'tis a beuty of a mod! I love the chips (somone else mentioned, but sweet nonetheless)!  Def. worth downloading! Ill use it when i get bored of the current mod i got installed

I really love this mod. Awesome job Zero, a very good idea to make Soldat into Mega Man X, or Mega Man. Do you mind if I use some of SFX files for my mod?

Ack! *Phoenix Wright-esque double-take*. I just kinda got here through a link in his profile.

I know him outside the forums, so the question was really more of a funny jab at the fact that I already had. (he knows about it, too. So all is good.)

I assumed the mention of needing to update his screenshot would pose as a reasonable on-topic thing to revive it for...

The mod's kind of old news by now. I don't plan on making any changes unless the new Soldat version breaks half of it or whatever. Thanks, anyway.

Anyone have this or know where to get it? I'm a mega man fan so would like to try this latest version. It seems that the download links of all the best mods (save EW7) are always down. :(
