It's out
well no need to post screenies, it's light weight and it contains images to help out. This is mainly for making stuff such as weapons from real photos or totally drawn. I reccomend using paint shop pro with this (or it is less useful)

After two long years, I finally updated this..

now also with a little more info for newcomers :Q

Looks very helpful, I think I might use photoshop for my weapons now. Good job on the tutorial.

don't.. photoshop is a waste of processing power.

Paintshop Pro and MS paint is good enough.

EDIT : Who remembers the idea posted by someone to make weapons in 3d, then printscreen it into 2D? Wacky.

I personnaly use MS Paint for weapons, together with a screenshot at it side. This way I can reproduce it easily and always have an eye on the original picture.

Interface making is easy, no need to post a guide for it :D:D:D

.IT files? Use modplug tracker. Worked for me.

Nice one Ville.

For the weirdos that can't get paint, Go to start > run, then type in mspaint. Presto.

Well, it'd be illegal. Not to mention you've pretty much just told the world you're a software pirate.

Not that i know of i legally downloaded it with permission so i think its ok...but make sure before you upload it

To topic....very nice helpful tool for noobs even tho i knew that this info already its still helpful

But consider rename-ing the topic to Noobs Guide to modding

Well, seeing as how it's $60, distributing it for free would be illegal. The only free version of PSP is the 30-day trial here (http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=CorelCom/ProcessLayout&lc=en&ppg=CorelCorp/Trials/Login&pid=1156169694605&cid=1156169693940).

Download.com might be legal, but hosting software that you have to purchase and is not free to share is not legal.  Either way, please stay on topic and try not to bring back topics to argue a moot point.  Also, if you need a link fixed try contacting the author of the topic.

don't.. photoshop is a waste of processing power.

Paintshop Pro and MS paint is good enough.

Personally, I like Paint.NET.  It requires the .NET framework, but it's free and very easy to use, IMO.
