Hello,
I have played soldat for a long time and i usualy play caputre the flag and
climbing.
those two gamemods are played in capture the flag mode and after a while (specialy after i downloaded a map pack with 301 maps) my ctf maps are so many that when i want to vote i have to click "next" for a realy long time.
so i have 2 suggestions:
1) to make one more vote option, that players can write the name of the desired map (or just a part of it and the game give the "next" or "previous"
to the rest of the maps).
2) make climbing an offical gamemode, so the capture the flag maplist will be shorter.
please tell me what you think about it.

There is already a climbing mode. All you need are the maps, and disable weapons...and your done :)
Soldat is meant to be a shoot em up game....not some walk in the park....

but still, if you have tons of maps,no matter what gamemode,
it is anoying to click "next" forĀ three minutes or more.

There is already a command, /votemap ctf_fgsddaf
And climbing as an official mode, no. Simply because its not Soldat.

DeFrag in not Quake 3 either, but on the other hand, climbing ain't so popular is Soldat.. yet.

I thought i would be nice and correct some spelling without flaming you for being new.
For number 1, I think that a nice little "window" would be appealing to many people, sometimes, i look through some of the maps I have and i remember a specific map, the command does not give you the list to choose from, and you need to rely on your memory to choose a good map. The dialog box that would be added would be some kickass eyecandy.
For number 2, that would not significantly decrease the number of servers on ctf, it would be about 3 less servers, and that is if they actually do bother to port the maps over to the new gamemode, i think we need to think about cutting down some of the very unused gamemodes, or changing them to make them more popular.

Yes, that would be cool. Its vvery boring and u will die like 1000 times before u will find wanted map.
