Hi all!
Players would be made to make an account and a databse somewhere (probz in Poland :) ) would be stored the total kills, deaths, caps, weapon usage.
This would enable the calculation of the best soldat player.
We could also show off by repeativly sohowing other our ranks :)

Its been suggested. I dont think it will ever be put into effect though.

It's fun to talk.
If we didn't talk about things we don't know the answer to, or in this case ideas that will never be put into effect, then this section of the forums would surely be empty.

Soldat would become too competitive, I play for fun not because I want to fight for a high ranking position all the time.

How'z about server ranking then?

Already sort of have this(see http://www.u13.net), but it might be a resource hog if coded into the server itself. I'm ok with server independant rankings.

Took me 1 day to get ranked 6th place on the u13 servers. Stat whoreing is looked down upon and should not be provoked.
Search for "Jacks_StatWhore" on u13 replace the *s with another word for prostitute.

i might be wrong, but i thought the word was spelled with a 'W' at the beginning? i might be wrong, but ya U13 is the best ranked servers on soldat

Yea, global stats would probably ruin it for me... because then it would be all about rank and I like playing more for funĀ 8)

This would make soldat more addicting. But the biggest problem is people would get really pissed when they get teamkilled, or someone steals a cap.

Yeah, I already get pretty pissed when gay sh*t happens like lag or tk and this would probably make me quit soldat haha.. even though it is impossible :D

arrghh.. it gives the players too much pressure when in reality, many play soldat for the good feeling of killing people and rushing, gushing blood
