Also try to make a map without any deadly polygons, maybe something like ctf_tower (or something like that) but that you don't loose and have to climb from the beginning when you make a mistake, maybe something like levels that you only can fall on but not deeper, something like a SAVE option ().

Soldat basically is a multiplyer network game, so to provide proper on-line gameplay map should be short enough to be complete in 10-15 minutes, should not have any lag-related obstacles since Soldat don't offer precision player movement especially for players whose ping is bigger then 0, should not have seriated obstacles - they are getting people bored, should have visual implementation and style on the level higher then average to make people even more intrested in exploring whole map and reaching goal(flags).
