Online Gosteck suggestions

This isn't going to just be a request for an online gosteck system, this is a suggestion to some problems that have arisen.
The idea that I have had is to fix the complaint that there may be "rude or pornographic" gostecks that may turn up, and IMO most certainly will, knowing the internet. My suggestion is a command,

/mutegosteck (Name)

to change (Name) back to the origonal gosteck. Meh?

Also, as apposed to online gosteks, why not have a list of seven or so different gostecks, selectable in the "Player" tab, to change what you look like online? These would come with the game, and if you edited them it would be like editing anything else: only you can see it, and everyone else has it as well. These new gostecks would function like hats.

I understand this, couldn't you have digged up that old topic though?

Hm, I don't think alot of people bother to learn these /commands anways, besides the more savvy players like ourselves.

Phah, my first week on Soldat and I'd already learnt all of the /commands off by heart. Or at least, the ones that count (/kick, /mercy and /piss)

My opinion, though, is that letting people run rampant with their own gosteks is not a good idea. I fully support some iterations of this (alternate clothes, etc) but in the long run you'll just have a bunch of newbs who have no idea why both their name is Major0, they're wearing different clothes than everyone else and people are booing 'em off servers.

In short, I 50/50 support. Kinda.

Yeah, in hindsight I reckon the alternate clothes idea would be the way to go. And even newbs have to learn eventually. Hopefully.

Not many would know of the /mute function. Not many even during my playing online in the past knew of the regular text /mute code

BTW, it's "gostek," not "gosteck"
