Who remembers NWA... or me?

Hello everybody, I know it's been a while... cough... almost four years... but I was wondering if anybody who was in my old clan "New World Anarchy" is still around.  I see spectral is still playing, which reminds me of the good old days when we tore it up before there were even chainsaws to tear it up with.  Also, I was wondering the best way to get back into "it" quickly, as I'm still pretty decent with a ruger and it seems like there is alot more structure to the leagues and stuff these days.

Since you mentioned spectral, I figure you're from the American side of our community: you might want to try the Fractured forums, some oldies might remember you.

Also, if you want 'in' the scene again, use IRC, and play gathers ( #soldat.gather for european-, and #sna.gather for American games ).

Welcome back to the game and community. A lot has changed since you've been gone. As Demonic said, the best way to get back into the competitive scene again is to play gathers, which take place on QuakeNet. If you're unfamiliar with IRC, a detailed tutorial can be found here.
