I say long distance cause everyone uses short distance so I just take everyone out before they get the chance of hitting me xD  ~PwN3D~

i think spas-12 is ment for long (you know spraying) and close its perfect on ctf_kampf (if you red) then you just shootinto the air spraying down on the enemy.

Well it really depends on the map doesn't it? Say your playing on a medium-big map like bunker or lagrange, you'd probably be using ak or barrett. But if it's on a tiny map (arena 2), u'd be using mp5 or m79... etc.

I use barrett most often though. That'd be counted as far then. Very far. ;D ;D ;D

My brother has a unique style, he use only [Barret] and [socom] on close. He plays like it be [MP5] and  [knife]! Must admit that he has skill in that though. (But if you meet him in realistic hes as dumb as a rock, he only self kills on fall all the time)
You would prolly recognize him in game.

I maintain my fidelity to Ruger, I even love its sound.
Although I trust very much in MP5 for small maps.

I'm probably better at close, since I'm more accurate close. Like with the SPAS-12 and me Steyr.

It's more of medium-range, however, due to my skill with the M79 and AK-74.

I never did like the Barret, except for viewing enemy troop movements. Then I throw it at someone and break out the chainsaw.

Then again, it's kinda fun to provide covering fire and/or spray with the Minimi.

Basically, I'm good from mid-range and under. Long range....leave that to the snipers.

Despite using the AK-74, I tend to get up close to the opponent.  I'm a very aggressive player, which is often the cause of my deaths.

Thats what I use on deathmatches. I put on my helmet and hide and wait, I then can either knife someone or jump out and MP5 them close range. I can just stand still INFRONT of some foliage and be practically invisible, pretty cool.
I used to use the AK for that sort of stuff but it seems underpowered now.

long-mid  - Styer
mid-low   - mp5

I use barret on nuubia ;o <dunno why xD>
