ctf/dm/inf Underground
« on: February 18, 2007, 07:59:06 pm »
I drew out a quick 3 minute sketch onto some notebook paper and i took a few pictures using my camera. I might make it. If i don't i'll toss it into the Drawing Board/Scrapyard.

Currently there is no name for it but i'm planning on making it a jungle type map. Say what you want about it. Maybe a tip. Maybe a few insults. I don't really care.

well... looks like a nice map. You can call it inf/ctf_underground sounds good to me :) (damn it.. jungle map?)
you can skip that right? underground is a better name i think.. If you are sure it must be a jungle map then you can call it... ctf_no-idea?

Hmmm...underground meaning everything being dirt and rocks and such? I'll see what that looks like then go from there.
So far i started from the Right side bunker and got the cave up top, the lil' dip part and the closest rock.
No idea why it takes me so long but its pretty big already.

Edit: It actually looks pretty good with the whole thing being muliple shades of brown. Thanks for that idea.
ctf/inf/dm Underground can be the name for now unless i think of something better (which probably wont happen).

Looking good so far.  You can rescale it to a favorable size if need be.

Due to my C drive dying out, i lost all my Soldat progress. But now i have a new computer with coolness and such. Poor old Jeremy couldn't hold on and i'll forever miss him (Jeremy = Old Dead Comp). Now, Greg, the new comp, will be substituting for old Jeremy. Sorry but i'll have to restart or give up on my map.

I think the scale is good; thanks for putting the guidance gostek there. You should continue and complete it on your own :)

Whats sucks is that nothing can be salvaged from my C drive! Currently i'm sending important crap from my D drive to my new comp. I'll have to re-download Soldat, PolyWorks, etc.

Underground is a pretty overused mapname, maybe something different?

How about spelunker?

ctf/dm/inf_Spelunker...

It has a ring to it.
