Question, Bink?
« on: February 14, 2007, 02:03:45 pm »
Question to all who know what they are talking about:

Bink: the great equalizer, and always absent when i need it against a barret, but still... on to the question. It is what makes the gun inaccurate when fired, and also causes other weapons to be inaccurate when hit...

What does negative bink mean? if a gun has negative bink, what affect does it have on other weapons and what is the effect on the accuracy? The only info i could gather from testing in the wtfamidoing.ini its just like positive bink. A gun would need 0 bink to be completely bink-free.

Now, since bink is negative, you would expect the gun to not become difficult to fire when emptying the clip, this isn't the case. What happens?

negative bink is self bink. Its used on the autos. The more you fire the weapon, the more you bink yourself, promoting controlled bursts of fire.

barrett bink doesn't seem to work for me.

Odd... virtually all of my shots miss due to bink when I use it, yet other people can still sometimes nail a shot when I pump them full of bullets. Eh...

(Although, at a decent close range, bink won't affect anyone too much)
