demo music
« on: March 30, 2007, 09:53:37 pm »
im thinking of making music videos out of my soldat demos... problem is, i dont know any good songs to put in them.

the only videos ive seen were the soldat veterans video and the fishes one... im looking more toward similar music to the ones in the fishes movie or any other hardcore fast songs.  Guys know of any?

I have mad skills, don't you?

Just play through disturbed or godsmack CDs, or the likes of them until you find something you like.  Keep in mind it's good to use a song that you can do cool synchronization with.

Music that makes you feel like a badass when you listen to it helps. Personally, I'd recommend Overseer, though any fast music with loud drums works.

Pantera, In Flames, Godsmack (they have a song called I Fucking Hate You!), any song that is fast.

Anything cheezy, commercial, and recognizable.  It's nice to have a video that puts a new look on a song, like having whats her face singing "I WILLL SURVIVE!!1!!" while you run around killing stuff for 5 minutes.  I have made a video that is set to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,  and it's the most badass thing ever. Synchronization is key, so try not to use a lot of Heavy Metal, tough to sync those complex riffs. Try using some house tunes, and techno stuff, but it shouldn't be too repetitive.

If you can tap your foot to it, sing along with it, or both. it's gold.

Rob Zombie - Dragula (from The Matrix OST) video would rock. Try out this song, it one of the best "hardcore" songs.

or perhaps use some of the default songs of soldat - they're pretty OK.  otherwise godsmack's always nice
Can't think of anything original to put here...
