mIRC question

i was following the wiki guide to setting my mIRC for soldat and I get stuck at this one part where it says click on Servers under the connect tree. I click on Servers but then it doesnt come up the same way tht is says in the tut. Instead of it saying IRC Network on the top and IRC Server under it just a list of servers pop up. Then when i try to put the email thing in it says im not on a channel if anyone can help me plz help.

No but I have to create an account so that i can join the servers and I cant get to tht step until I pass that one.

just type /server uk.quakenet.org into the chat bar and it should connect you, type /query sneakyg if you have probs after that
