CTF_Apophis update. Please comment!

Yeah, this is my very first map so please be kind with the insults and bashings. This is not done, I just want to know if it's any good and to guide myself through your comments.

Hmm... I think It's a pretty good map as a first one. It looks better than mine! Just remove those icicles because they do not match the forest style of your map :/ By the way, I like that waterfall :]~

Those light effects look kinda crappy to me. Make them more random, like in diffrent ways. The waterfall is pretty good. Instead of icicles you could make stalactites or wtf you call those. Good job.

Yeah map looks pritty good for your first one...It´s a simple map but I think the gameplay could be great...Also it looks a little bit like the standart maps in soldat..and the most of them have good gameplay too, so keep up working like this...I think with your creative ideas you could become a good mapper ;)

Polys are flat on the bottom, and pointy on the corners and edges. Lighting kinda sucks, but I think it's going to be amusing to hear people scream underwater.

Stalacites goes to the ceilings, stalamites goes to the ground...just color the icicles brown and place.

Well I took the suggestions that you guys gave me and other people and here is an update to the map.

The top part has water cuz the weather is raining, yeah I'm silly. I erased the part where the flag was and made a little ditch for it because I was getting a lot of poly bugs. I smoothed out the map, or so I think. The water on the rocks little streams are coming out of the holes on the rocks. I think thats about it. Tell me what else I need to add or take out please. Thank you for the help.

I think it's a pretty good map. Maybe stretch it out a little more so it isn't so condensed, and perhaps add a spray barrier like Dropdown2 in the middle .. "or else". Very nice first map job though.

Yo, Keiran. :)

The water is way too bright compared to the rest of the map, I think. The rest of the scenery and atmosphere presented are decent, but layout also could use some work; the bottom path, particularly the countable # of polygons (8, I think. Am I right? :D) which compose the floating boulders are really weird and jagged, and the split between the two rocks is odd as well; perhaps they should just be done away with completely, or make them feel more recognizable as true boulders, like ctf_Laos' bottom rock. The upper two large masses should also have some sort of variety on their bottoms instead of just flat lines, and the paths of them all overall favor spraying; more land should be sloped, like the bottom of ctf_Run, or ctf_Kampf.
