The Gimp is good for the  shades, im not a good ''Gimper'' but the program is really good for that, also you can draw it witha pen and in a paper, later scan it and put the colours on the gimp

Once you get really good, you can go and buy yourself a tablet. Their awesome for making art on the computer.

I'd be good if you can make the drawings more tidy and gerally better, though joke was good.

Very true, flamers can really suck if the lag is bad. ::)
