Can't join u13 or selfkill provided servers

Rather bizarre really. Everything...and I mean everything, hosted by u13 or selfkill, no matter if I click on it in the lobby or enter it in manually, all I get is 'requesting game...' and nothing. Can't join.

 Others appear to be able to join them fine, having been invited to a few. I've tried everything with the selfkill ip I could find in the lobby (83.243.84.55), all of chicago.u13's servers ...nothing. All other servers work flawlessly for me though.

I had that same problem with u13 the past few days.  But i was able to enter the u13 inf server this morning.  Someone told me this morning that u13 was down the last few days but i dont know.  Works for me now

Think it might be my isp screwing up dns's and what not...Toumaz gave me an ip to u13 inf that worked, and I can still join leo's servers (hosted by selfkill) ...

Im always able to get into leos server so I dont know what the prob was other than ur comp.

dude did u guys not know that they are currently down right now?

U13 Crashed and should be back up soon

selfkill not sure im sure u can look around on forums and find out whats wrong

Chakra, do u13 and selfkill servers work if you enter the IP instead of the domain name?

Secondly, do any other hosts not work if you enter the domain, but work if you enter the IP?

it smells like maybe the 1.4 client is having problems joining/resolving when domains are used.

I think it may be 1.4 ...but i'm far from sure. I managed to join your U13 INF server via ip, but no matter what I try, I can't join sna.gather's server that you host. I can join some selfkill servers, but for the past n'th days I couldn't get into 2wai's selfkill hosted server....until just now, for absolutely no reason I could join it. Heaven knows why, as nothing has essentially changed.

I've been using "u13.net" to connect just fine. I think it's probably a propagation issue myself.

there have been no changes made to the DNS for u13.net, this is definitely not a propagation issue.  Even while the server was down, I kept u13.net pointing at it.
