dumb scenery

I gonna make a new big map, and i wanna put there some  REAL pictures.
the problem is when i copy the pictures to scenery-gfx , or put in paint
and saving in scenery-gfx , in map maker it wont show me the scenery.
can someone help me how to use a REAL picture in scenery for the new map?

Are you sure the scenery is in .BMP format? If it isn't, you will have to convert it or else MapMaker won't detect it. If it is in .PNG, only Soldat PolyWorks can use it (I think).
