Should I Start My Own Server

I was just wondering if I should create my own dedicated  server and modify it so its 24/7.  If you support this idea or have suggestions on my server, such as gamemode, server settings, and etc. feel free to post them here.

I dont think alot of people really care if you make a server unless it is a spechial one. there is plenty of DM and CTF servers with good ping to go around, but if you make a succsessful R/S or trenchwar server or whatever the people tired of standard game modes play theese days, then you might have a hit.

but if you want to form a community or something you need a website and features and whatnot.

Then the question should be "what do you want from a server that no other servers have to offer that are already out there?".

I have an idea for ya... a 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 R/S CTF mode with original maps only...There are many rs servers but all of them are for 12+ players and they dont use original maps... id sure as hell play there everyday.

R\S is usually 10 or 12 players, never anything else.

There are plenty of R\S servers that use only custom maps, or at least include some in the rotation. :\.
