Help because wireless internet

Ok, I keep on trying to host a server. Nobody can join it because it has 9999 ping. We'll even when I play in it my clan members are telling me it doens't go down. Is this because I have wireless internet. If not please tell me why I can't host a server.

Most likely it is because you have a router and you don't have the ports forwarded.
