What the heck

Ok I just downloaded the 1.4 and I have 2 issues so far:

1. The lobby isn't working AT ALL. However, I looked at another topic, which mentioned that website, so I can access that, however, that brings me to the 2nd problem Ive been having.

2. None of my stats will stay. Every time I exit soldat now, all my stats go back to default. I like low sound and all, so i keep getting 100 sound, I have my own control scheme which keeps getting reset, and my name keeps changing to "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" Help on both issues?

You are using an old Soldat.ini file from 1.3.1.... You need to use the soldat.ini that came with 1.4.0

Err...can you tell me how to change it? I updated it to 1.40 just earlier...

Make a full install of soldat 1.4, not just the update. That's the easier way i think... (to explain )

Ok, I just uninstalled, ill download the whole game over again now.....unfortunately thatll take a while with dial up...but shouldnt take that long since its a small download.

Date Posted: May 12, 2007, 08:40:25 pmOk, the last hour has been somewhat frustrating, but i fixed it. I dont know exactly what went wrong but it either had something to do with my 1.31 or possibly the fact that i didnt extract the 1.40. I downloaded a version of 1.40 straight but it didnt work, so i tried the 1.31 and the 1.40 and so far so good. I can see the servers and i exited and rejoined and my stuff stayed.
