an idea i had - thought i'd run with and see how it all goes

thanks to SimAnt for the scenery (tell me more of you remember that game!!)

not waypointed, probly best for 3v3 or 4v4

don't need no flamin, but if y'all got any ideas/suggestions/whatever send it my way

Hah, what a strange theme for a map!

It has a nice layout, and average shading, but I feel it's too symmetrical and... "perfect," if ya get what I mean ;) (I.e., the terrain looks too smooth, etc.) Some of the passages look a tad cramped. Try more radical background colors.

Blue ants?! I've seen red and yellow ones, but that'd be the life of me... :P

Too perfect, ants are messy, mess it up a bit, but not in terms of misaligned triangles, make a few bumps and gaps and holes and closed off tunnels. Shading is real looking, even though I don't know how theres light at the way bottom of a ant tunnel.

i was aiming for that clean-symmetrical-etc. sorta thing, but i see what y'all are sayin....might try an anthill2 that's dirtier & rougher

Lol, pretty neat layout, and yet another strange theme for a Soldat map.

Good job.  I am hoping to see more.

very interesting map, maybe more scenery? somekind of rubble (pmc_dust should do it) and some colliders eh?

omg no! you stole my idea! lol, I just thought of a bug level like this yesterday, where you have two separate ant colony things and like 2 tunnels as well as the surface passage to get to the other base. guess I need to be faster lol.

but back to the actual build of the map, I agree with vig completely. need like rocks, twigs, grass, ant food, ant eggs, etc. for you to climb on or run behind for cover. at least you know how to shade though, lol. thank God for that ;D

Interesting idea... but I think it needs more scenery... anything other than ants, lol... good map ;D

I think it needs more scenery...

May I suggest some?

Larvae below the flag spawns; some clods of dirt to act as colliders (like sanbags except they're, well, dirt); and a background for the colony.

crackadill, although this map didn't pass full on 100% you should this about making a N style map, everyone's been making weird Super Mario maps lately.
