Exactly. It is almost as bad, in practice, as the mp5.

I was thinking 5 if all body hits, and 6 if 1 on the leg
That equals to a damage value of at least 125 units. So you basically want to make Ak 20% stronger and call it balanced? >_> /me ignores joo

did you catch the part where I said decrease in accuracy?? also less speed could do it

Im just trying to make AK a bit different from Minimi

and also : me no joo, stfu gypsy

you kidding right? styer is THE auto of choice. its so freakin accurate. Sure the bullet dont go where the crosshair is but it does not mean that its a bad weapon(deagle for example, m79, hell even ruger)

Styer is horrible because like every auto you shoot and shoot and nothing happens and you get huge amounts of bink for trying.

1.4.1 feels worse then 1.3.1, because even though my bullets didn't register, when they did they actually did damage, It Feels like every bullet is a dud.

Since it seems to me you're just whining ( as your arguments are inexistant in my world of Soldat oO ), I'll propose a deal. Get on sna.gather ( since I know you're american ), and play. I doubt you'll still find the game slow.

You may know about aim, but appearantly you don't know **** about autos. Just because the barret is a one-hit-kill doesn't mean the autos are too.

@Kryp -- go buy some skills. use /command to bring up the commands.

barrett is indeed quite different from autos, usually ppl uses barrett cannot maintain their accuracy for long.

sure styer has a considerable ammount of bink but the bullets fired by steyr are not random, it follows a pattern. (the binked bullets follows the same pattern) Learn the pattern, and you'll see how pwn styer can be.

...or you could try releasing the fire button after every few seconds of firing ( unless you're really close up ). It gets the job done, as steyr can fire like the bullets were pulled on a wire.

My challange still stands to any of you; if you think there are problems with balance, try a gather out. Get on IRC, then join #soldat.gather ( if you're European ), or #sna.gather ( if you're American ). Aussies get the shaft.
