File>Compile to PMS

If you don't compile, nothing will work.

What E_A said should've worked. Try saving it as a different name then clicking compile to PMS again.

Polygon properties

Normal > both the players and bullets will collide with the polygons
Only Player Collides > only the Player Collides, bullets pass through
Only Bullets Collide > only the bullets Collide, the player will fall through
Doesn't Collide > everything will simply pass through the polygon
Ice > player collides but they have low friction
Lava > player collides but burns when in contact with polygon
Hurts > player collides but slowly loses health when in contact
Deadly > player dies on contact
Bloody Deadly > player is ripped apart on contact
Regenerates > player slowly gains health on contact

Objects
Right click when you are using the object tool and select the object you want to spawn from the list.

Most of the basic functions of all the tools are in the help document in polyworks (the "?" icon in the top right hand corner of the window). You can also find out many useful methods and tips for making maps in tutorials in these forums.

Hope I helped.  ;)

There is a button in the top right of polyworks shaped like a '?'. Click it.

Yeah, that's right.

If you want to know how mappers do stuff, just open the map yourself and check it out.

You want to change the texture? What do you mean? You can only select a new texture from the list or make your own (Soldat\Textures and Soldat\Textures\Edges)

Ha, yeah, it probably needs height or else it won't be recognized, I think
