Right, well, finally shifted over to the new forums after a long time.
Down to biz'nez:
-Kickable gernades.
Yeah, I know, limits how useful they are, but I hate the proximity effect of these. Last time I checked, pineapples were on a timer. Save it for realistic mode, but, I'd like to kick the gernade of some smug soldat back at him.
-Single Player Objective mode.
This one's a bit complex. It'd be like playing offline, but with some sort of objective, one death = game over sort of style. Realistic mode, probably, as to prevent you from seeing everything on the map. Simple things, like, reach some point without dying, and maybe even limit what weapons the player can use. Allow the basic programming of the bots patrolling or standing guard, and there's potential to have a new sort of life for soldat when you're not in the mood to play with others. I can't tell you how many maps I've played would make fun single player maps you have to tackle Solid Snake style.
-Doors, levers/switches
I'm just sayin'. I wonder how Soldats keep all their guns safe when they're sleeping.
-New stationary gun
Yeah, the machine gun is great, but what about a rocket or rail gun? Say, one shot would cause it to over heat for a minute or two. It'd be fun to mock up stationary tanks and what not.
-Sneak
Tricky. More like "walk". Decreased chance to immediately show up in line of sight in realistic mode. Would only work with some weapons (side arms - chainsaw, most primary weapons - minigun and perhaps others). Wouldn't help too much, but you never know what you can accomplish with an extra second and a half of stealth with a knife.
-New Special
Air strike, perhaps? One gernade when you pick up the bonus, and the effect of probably... 15 cluster pellets (not bombs, mind you) drop from the sky centered where the marker hit.
