Sorry for the delay in answering. These lines translated by Duz are good. I just want to make one consideration: the word "Recoil" could be translated as "Coice" instead of "Recuo", because in the context "Coice" would be more specific, while "Recuo" is a much more generical word that could open room for other interpretations (it means something like "Retreat" in portuguese). Anyway, "Recuo" is still acceptable — indeed, it is usually used as a synonymous. All the other translated words seems to be the best option in portuguese.

You also asked in the main topic if we have made the translation from the scratch or if we have just modified an existing translation. Well, proudly, I can say that I have made my translation from absolutly zero.

I have attached a translation that uses "coice" instead of "recuo" not only in these last lines, but also in two other parts of the translation that had already been translated.
