Quick Magnum w/Stats Mod

I was at work and I was all "Soldat needs a magnum." So I came home and made one. Pretty quickly.

Not exactly a masterpiece, but it seems to fit in with the style of the rest of unmodded Soldat pretty well to me.

It replaces the Socom.



This weapon is really overpowered. It is a hand-held Barret on crack. Don't expect to use it for serious matches. Furthermore, don't bug me about the realism of this, because I just really couldn't care much less.


Use it on zombies!

Credits: Valve. Both included sound effects are from Half-Life 2.
Some other guys for making the actual gun.
Me for everything else.

Not bad, but if I were to graphically critique this, I'd say you need more shades of color on the handle.

Woo, a magnum perfect for killing zombies. This is great, it's better than the .ini I made where all the primary weapons have double damage (to make it seem like the zombies have less health) and killer saws.
Anyway, nice little thing.

I took the damage and velocity right from the Barret, there's about 3/4 of a second between shots, and reloading, plus fire delay, takes about 2 and a half seconds. It's actually more balanced than one might think, if you've got zombies swarming all over you.

Well I guess it's a good thing I didn't decide to do the entire HL2 mod I had planned up, then. :P

Nice job Zeor, I love revolvers. This is fun to use against bots. (and unsuspecting friends who happen to join the WM server)

I think the handle should be a little bit wider though.
