how to get cash back?

Oh man I run on a 46.6 KBPS (O_o) dialup and I swear I have the best times of my life playing Soldat at aorund 180 ping. Lag for me just translates into a bit larger lead for my shots and I get to snort at the poor 80 ping DSL user that starts complaining about lag as soon as I nail him (or someone else nails him) a couple of time. Unless my memory deludes me, 1.4.1 is way less bandwidth intensive than the older versions like the 1.2.1 I originally ran (and consistently got ping-kicked on the same connection) and you're gonna need one hell of an antique junk dialup modem to run Soldat that poorly.

Best bet is to get a new ISP. Verizon and Comcast seem to work well in the US. Other than that you'll need ADSL or Higher.

His problem is probably not in his Internet connection, but probably in his local network.  In either case, stop spamming this thread.  If you want to try and help him with his problems, go to his other thread that is actually about them.

I have a problem with what you are saying XavieX, you say on your first post that you registered to the game a year ago. Some posts later you say that you paid 14$ to register. 

The price of the registered game was 9$ a year ago man so stop your bullshit, you paid, you paid, that's it that's all, now live with it.

Also : If you go buy a game.. lets say Battlefield 2 to Futureshop, then you install it and play online but ho! you have a high ping on some servers. You want your money back so you go to the Futureshop and tell them why you want your cash.. They will never take the game back and give you the cash! First because like with Soldat, you could have made a copy of the game..


And come on.. 9$ or 14$.. it's nothing at all.

First of all Aniway, STFU.
Second, i registered it in a computer back in Portugal, now im in USA. Case Closed, (If you have another "PROBLEM" with this "EXCUSE", keep it to yourself.
Third problem, i'm waiting 4 days already for my purchased item and i still didn't get it, when they said 2 days. (I'm going to make a post on this*)
Fourth, If i buy a game for PC and I am not satisfied, I TAKE IT BACK FOR MONEY BACK!(I live in Massachusetts ).
But whatever, I now have low ping i fixed the problem on my PC, not on my 60$ internet...
