it can run quake 4 and cod 2 without any problems...

will it be able to handle battlefield 2?

can anyone recommend any games like bf2 [ie. run around, shoot people, get in cars and multiplayer] that my computer would handle?

Yes it will play battlefield 2 if you can play quake 4. Here are the requirements for battlefield 2

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

    * Windows XP (32-bit) with Admin rights
    * 1.7 GHz Intel Celeron D / Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP/ Sempron or greater
    * 512 MB of RAM or more
    * 8x or faster CD/DVD drive
    * 2.3 GB free hard drive space or more
    * Video: DirectX 9.0c compatible (see video)
    * Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible (Sound Blaster X-Fi series recommended )

you need a lot better then the minimum to play that game. it loads so ridiculously slow. post your specs and we shall see.

as for games like it, there is a really really shitty shareware crap warrock.
