It would pop itself up as a fake Windows Shield update message and try to get you to download something or other. It was actually pretty annoying to get rid of.
my friend has the same thing, a fake windows shield, how did you get rid of it?

Reg key fixer? Hmm, Let me look up something, I'll edit when I find one.


EDIT: I found, this one is very decent. I use it and it fixes everything.

A simpler and easier to use IRC client than mIRC - generally. Still has some of the more important features like auto-perform scripts on startup.

Well, I'm not exactly sure how I got rid of it. I think I just did some searching on the ol' internets and found some good advice on getting rid of it.
