Graphics card RAM
« on: July 27, 2007, 07:37:43 am »
I need to know how much RAM is installed on my graphics card, how can I find out?

I no longer have the packaging or manual (it's a really old graphics card by the way) and what the main problem is I'm not 100% sure which model it is because of the way it's listed in my display settings in control panel...

It's listed as: nVidia GeForce2 MX/MX400

So I guess it's either a GeForce2 MX or it's a GeForce2 MX400

The problem is I need to know which of these it is.

The GeForce2 MX comes with 32MB RAM but the MX400 comes with 64MB RAM so I kinda need to know which one it is.

Any help would be appreciated... My pc's so old that it's not worth getting a new gfx card, I'm probably getting a brand new pc in a few months so it's not worth it.

So if anyone knows how I can check how much RAM there is definately then that would be so much help.

Thanks.
