Get Unlocker. Whenever a program can't be deleted on my computer because or errors or something I turn it on and it lets you delete it.

That is a good program but it can't find and delete the hidden files.

Are you using any anti-spyware programs to try and clean it up?

I suggest spybot search & destroy, avg anti-spyware, and one that i paid for was eTrust Internet Security Suite with just the anti-spyware part.

I had this exact same spyware on my computer and the combination of those seems to have gotten rid of it. You might also want to try using hijackthis, but make sure you know what you're doing before you go deleting stuff.

avg anti-spyware,
avast!

avast has way less annoying popups, it doesn't give you useless information like "i think i should upgrade now," and "Gee I think this game is a trojan" and "I JUST STARTED MY SCAN BUT I HAD TO MINIMIZE/CRASH YOUR GAME TO TELL YOU THAT? WHAT? OH, IT WAS MY FAULT YOU GOT HARD DRIVE FAILURE? MY BAD"

as you can see i hate that program with a passion. Avast is far better.

"Gee I think this game is a trojan"

That's right...it deleted Soldat for me. =(

Only anime shows I've felt any interest in over the years are Pokemon (original TV series) and various hentai.
so clearly jgrp is a goddamn anime connoisseur. his opinion might as well be law here.

1) Install your favorite anti-bad-stuff programs, including AdAware and Spybot S&D
2) Make sure they are all 100% up-to-date
3) Reboot into safe mode (tap f8 during the startup process, starting just before the Windows loading screen usually shows up)
4) Do 1 scan with each program
5) Reboot into safe mode again, do another scan with each.  If it comes up clean, reboot into normal mode
6) reboot into safe mode and make sure it comes up clean with a scan of each again.  Rebooting into normal mode might have caused certain things to reinstall and this step is to make sure that didn't happen

If you're still not clean, either repeat various steps at your leisure or back up your important stuff and reformat your computer.

Avast is a virus scanner, not a spyware scanner. AVG Anti-Spyware is the new name of ewido anti-spyware.

Avast will abort connections to spyware as well as viruses. It does only scan for viruses though.
