Wow. I am such a fan of great maps done by seriously awesome mapmakers, that I am awfully embarrassed to post my first map here lol.
Well here goes. Madhizzle is a 'concept map', when played correctly it works out to a random series of 1v1 matches in small rooms, then you die and get thrown into another little 1v1. But a bunch of these little short 1v1 fights are all happening on the same map. That's the concept that i started with.
Because of the design, it is an DREADFULLY BORING map when played with 2-4 players, but can get really (I mean REALLY) fun if you have 6-8 players or more. That's probably this map's Achilles' heel, as it were, it really depends on having a lot of players in it to be fun. But when you have enough players, this map is pure ROFL and earns its name.
Should be played as DM or TDM. Recommended settings are Bonus = 2, Statguns = 1, Grenades = 4. All bonuses should be enabled as each room contains a Bonus spawn point, different for each room.
Rooms numbered from left to right:
Room #1 - deadly spikes on both sides and in the middle... contains a Flamegod bonus
Room #2 - horizontal corridors, an access point to the Attic, contains Cluster bonus
Room #3 - bushes and Trees, contains a Predator bonus
Room #4 - a single Vertical barrier, contains a Vest bonus
Room #5 - center of the action, you can attack all adjacent rooms from here. Contains a regen poly.
Room #6 - circular Ice Room.
Room #7 - damage poly on the bottom, clouds fill this room and can obfuscate you from your foes.
Room #8 - Blocks, blocks and more blocks. Contains a Berzerker bonus.
Room #9 - Cross-sectioned, you can fire up and down, or move left and right, but not both! Contains a Nade bonus.
Attic - accessible only from room #2, its an open area for long range battles, including a Stat gun in the midda (the Attic is not pictured in this presentation, youll just have to take my word for it)
