I did what you said, copied in my maps textures demos objects interfaces weapons sfx, all that modded goodness that doesnt effect real settings.
Then I go into a server and I get the standard battle eye not responding. The new BE doesnt come with 1.4.2's file?
And while you're here do you know what the original fonts were? What I saw was quite frankly FUCKING UGLY.
Please help.

Okay I uninstalled soldat, then reinstalled without copying any of my old files figuring that might SOMEHOW be the problem. I go into the server and I still get the battle eye not responding.
Seriously could someone just upload the PROPER BE files to mediafire or something and tell me if theres anything special I need to do to put them in manually.

THIRD UPDATE:
MUDDA FOOKAH! I got my friend to gimme all his BE related files put em in my BE folder (put the version text in my soldat folder) I go into the server and it works!
And then a few seconds later I get kicked with a BE not responding.
Battle Eye raped my inner child.
HAAAAAAAALP.
