Please scroll below to get the new version 1.1! It includes Deathmatch support as well as fixed sceneries and other effects. This update was performed 8/25/07.

The world was in turmoil...all until the undergrowth began to grow rampant and take over the land...now all that is left of Azril is vegetation...a symbol of that which once was before man inhabited it.

Venture to a time where the land has grown rampant and what was once civilization is now disappearing in the undergrowth...

[Changelog for v 1.1 (8/25/07)]
-Now supports Deathmatch gameplay as well!
-Fixed a few tiny polybugs
-Edited a few sceneries to better fit the environment

Please redownload if you have a version released before 8/25/07 using the link below to get version 1.1 with above fixes (and added deathmatch)

The shading looks great and the scenery usage is fucking drop-dead-gorgeous.

I absolutely love it's sense of defaultishness.

Thanks jrgp for your helpful suggestions on this work as well! (Forgot to mention haha.) Without your comment of going default I wouldn't have ever changed the color palette, so I owe you. It turned out nicely with your suggestion! Cheers!

I just posted an update a bit ago to include Deathmatch and fixed some minor polybugs. To all who are interested and got my map yesterday (8/24/07) please redownload from the link above for version 1.1 (8/25/07) or just click the link above to get everything you'll need to wander into the overgrown landscape which is Azril...

Quite nice. I'll download it sometime to see how it plays.

Other than that, it looks really nice and I couldn't say otherwise.

Looks good, and the layout is nice too ( though one more route to top left could be added to top right, so it's easier to circulate on ). Use less hanging lianas, and some variety with the tree sceneries. Also, I can't download it, as the TMS links are broken. Mind fixing it?

Yea...there was some trouble with TMS (quite the trouble actually...) but I just recently re-uploaded...and after trying it myself it seems to be working. Try again now that it's been fixed. Holler if the download still does not work.

As for the advice behind lianas...I sorta wanted to give the feeling that the atmosphere was overgrown, hence the description..so I thought why not put vegetation hanging from the islands? But yes, I agree I went a little overboard and I apologize for that. At the time it seemed a great idea! But now...bah, it gives a negative look I think to the map.

As to the trees...I wanted to make this map with only default sceneries provided with 1.4.2, hence the lack of other vegetation. I added jungletree1 and 2's for my only trees, not touching VTT's scenery gfx, nor anything else...I added a few bushes here and there (mostly for opaque background effect) and just threw in crates for cover. So it's mainly a default-ish map with little to no "extras" I guess you could say.
