Brave/Stupid Flag Carrier

An evenly matched battle for survival started in CTF_Voland. 5 versus 5, each blue and red soldier was skilled in the art of killing. After a stressful 20 minutes, the score was 4 : 4. One more point to end the game. To end the struggle.

Autos, grenades, m79s, were quickly killing everything that was rushing towards any enemy's base. Both teams were good. It was only a matter of time before one team decides to GO ALL OUT, and it happened.

I was in blue team, and in the midst of a massive rush by the red team, I managed to take the red flag as the red base was empty.

They also got our prized blue flag, and now both of RED and BLUE Flag Carriers are safely crouching in home base, protected by fellow comrades who are willing to die to protect them.

After 5 minutes of continuous battle, sitting there, waiting for the flag, I lost my patience. I decided to rush, and attempt to assassinate the RED EFC. It was a simple plan. Grab a barret, take the highest route in the skies, jump into their base, one-shot-kill efc, grenade and socom the 4 soldiers in enemy base, and run away safely from red base and capping to win the game.

Offense is the best defense.

As I flew out of Blue base and went near the Red base my fellow soldiers yelled at me,

EFC COME BACK DUMBASS !!
EFC WTF U DOIN GO BACK !!
IDIOT EFC go back !!

The pressure from just one point to win the game was clearly seen in my fellow soldiers.

I did not bother to reply. I was already beginning to concentrate on what would be my bravest action as an EFC. Or the stupidest.

As I flew into the enemy's RED BASE, seconds before I click the barret trigger aimed at the Enemy Flag Carrier's head, I could see the surprise in my enemy's eyes. Clearly, none of Red Team's soldiers expected the MOST WANTED DEAD person to suddenly pop out in their Red home base. The man with their prized Red FLAG.

The shot was succesful. RED EFC DEAD. Some reds rush for the blue flag spouting out from the red bloody corpse, and I threw 3 of my grenades in the midst of socoming red heads as I flew down. It knocked players around, and their automachine gun bullets were blocked by their own comrades. M79's shots missed out of the bloody confusion. I returned BLUE FLAG, and with a one last nicely timed grenade and a roll, I got out of the base safely, socoming everything behind me.

I killed all 5 of red soldiers. One fell down as he was chasing me across the bridge, from my straight barret shot.

I walked slowly back to my base, in the amazement of my fellow soldiers who were cursing me to death a minute ago..... there was no worries because Red Soldiers were all dead and was cursing as they waited to respawn.

I stood beside the blue flag, with red flag in hand. Ready to cap in one mere step. I needed to do one last thing. From afar I could hear the Red Soldiers running in, unleashing everything they had in the rage and humiliation that they suffered a minute ago.

As my teammates once again yell at me,

CAP !
FUCKING CAP !
SCORE !!

I needed to wait a bit longer.... until the Red Soldiers came face to face with me, needing only 3 seconds to kill me, I CAP THE FLAG IN FRONT OF THEIR FACE.

That, my dear friends, was the best Flag Carrier moment I ever had.
Also, I couldn't have killed all of them if my teammates did not weaken them and steal their medpacks.
It was due to teamwork, that a flag carrier can pull that off.

Try it sometime. It's probably the bravest thing you can do in Soldat. Or the stupidest.

I usually just have problems with people guarding me in my base, even. When I'm the FFC, that is.

It was a dark and stormy night. Everything was still. Not even a mouse stirred, sleeping in the hopes that the storm would come to pass.

That is, not EVERYTHING was asleep. Five men in red shirts and five in blue, these soldiers of the night. The sound of bullets and ricochets rang loud and echoed into the vincinity.

Here, I was, writing what would seem my last entry in my diary, ears alert for the ominous sounds of would-be capper(s).

Where was I, you say? Oh, I was in a crate, in Alpha's base, wearing a blue shirt. I'm a bravo at heart. So what was I waiting for?

A chance.

That chance finally came, as the footsteps of the EFC came from the tunnel. As quietly as I could, I loaded my gun, and switched to my knife.

As calculated and best as I can, I timed my jump out of the crate, the knife throw delay, and the knife careening ever-so-downwards upon my EFC's head.

The EFC died, rolling to a stop against the wall in a comical heap of flesh and bone. I returned the flag. Then I heard the last thing I wanted to hear: The sound of the red flag being returned. Our FFC has died, our comrades, our captain...

But they sacrificed their lives to take out the enemies as well. Quickly, before the enemies respawned, I took the flag. Then a ricochet shot came out of nowhere and hit me.

Surprised, I looked down at my bloody leg and back up at the lone adversary. I shot him with my gun and down he went. Then the four enemies respawned, and looking at me with rage that I had the flag, came at me with open jaws. As they came, a smile slowly crept at the corner of my mouth. I didn't bother wiping it away.

One gunner, three sawers, and one knife in my hand. I threw the flag in the air, and so the battle began. The sawers were chasing after me, saws buzzing with anger. I can't stop smiling. With terrible ease, I downed two of the hardy chainsawers.

I backflipped over the third sawer, threw my knife at the gunner before he had a clear shot, then supermanned to my knife, and threw it behind me to get rid of the last guy.

I got up, and the red flag came down and was in my hands. I was still smiling.

I sauntered over to my base and scored to end the story. What an epic adventure that was.

I got few


1) I got 7% of life, on a trenchwars map (GloryHill). I thought "What can I loose? I'll just rush for fun lol"... I ran into the Mid-Bunker, killed 2 enemies (2), ran into their base and killing next 2 on the way to there (4), threw a grenade that exploded exactly at one of my enemie's feet (5), took a flag, ran back with some SPAS-speeding up and killed another 2 guys (7). Everybody was like "WTF HOW THE FUCK DID HE KILLED ALL OF YOU???" It was pure fun to see their reactions...

2) 100% of life, running to the mid-bunker on GloryHill. I killed 3 people there (3). They were like "WTF has just happened >.>" . Then, I run to their base, killed 1 person in their base-bunker (4), threw a grenade that killed 2 people (6), got the flag, SPAS'sed last soldier running to me (7), but got killed. My team-mate got the flag and ran back safely to our base. He gave me my flag and I capped.

3) Same as earlier, killed few people in mid-bunker (2), killed few on my way (2) and in their little bunker in their base (5), threw a grenade and killed another one (6). This time I had my clan-mate's assistance. I was ALONE earlier and still played as a rambo... He killed one of them (6/1) and run with me to the flag. I took it and went to our base with his cover. I died on the barbed-wire >.> but he took the flag. He stopped in our in-base bunker and threw me a flag. He was standing on the left side of it. The one that enemy aproaches... He threw it and GOT KILLED by a SPAS-er... He managed to give it to me and I killed the intruder... I got a demo of that thing Enemy was like milimters from the flag...

i disagree, after lvl 40 ep is no longer a issue its just ctf, like just tonight 4 lvl 40 and some mid 30s full server, was a blast, no ep greedy 79rs, just 10 ppl all well versed in their spells whoopin ass, my best tonight was 139-11 3caps but that was before killa joined, then somehow i got a noobish team kinda

I was one [Ec] Trenchwar and i went afk for 5mins. While i was away, no body could do anything and it was just a constant shift in power in the middle of the map. I come back admist people attempting too kick me for being an afk ***got. 1 mins remaining and instead of advancing slowly, i just rushed with a spas, killed every enemy and a couple of them twice, got their flag, ran back, capped, repeat. Game ended 2-0 with only 2 seconds remaining after the 2nd cap =]

once on [eC] Trenchwars i was at teh end of the map gloryhill on the enemy side. i had only 1% health so i just charged in, threw a nade over the thing that covers the flag and got a triple.  I then lag jumped over the bunker thing and sprayed a guy in the face with my mp5. i was careful not to hit the barbed wire bu tnear trhe end i did and die. but a team mate picked it up and gave it to me letting me cap.
