Bash pit died and will be dead. It's future was doomed anyway... It was just like a time bomb which no one knew when it was gonna blow... FLAB neutralized the threat, end of story.

The pit wasn't so much a time bomb as a festering cess pool. Leave it be for long enough, and something's gonna come out, and nobody's gonna like it. Radioactive waste not included.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

You're right, it wasn't Spam. But it was repetitive immature 'arsefluid'.

Already been suggested and shot down. Again unless you people can form a reasonable argument the pit will never come back... then again look at the people requesting it...

I'd like to add that all of what church said is true, except only while Bricks is admin. Which is going to be until the end of time seemingly.

Then again even if Bricks does ever leave, which I'm not implying I want him to (as I prefer this place without a bash pit), I'm pretty sure other admins and moderators would collectively never allow it.

Now that's said, leave the bash pit alone for good.

The Bash Pit going away had very little to do with me.  The idea came up, a lot of people (mods/admins and forum members) were willing to leave it behind when we moved to the new forums.

The downfall of the bash pit was caused by it becoming a place for random garbage, not bashing as it was originally intended for.  It also dragged the forums down overall.  The immaturity wasn't just kept in the bash pit, it seeped out and turned the forums into a spammy pile of crap
