Not bad at all.  Pretty good for a first map.  But I suggest you remove some of the platforms and try not to make the edges of them so sharp.  It also could use some more shading in some areas and texture stretching to more the polygons not so dull and better to look at.  Add some more scenery too.  Nice map.

It is excellent for a first map, Well done. I like the way you came up with the placment of poly's it was very creative XD. hmmm... what can i say. The edges are kind of sharp. it seems fairly large for a DM map. The textures are all over the place and not smooth, i don't know if that was intentional or anything. Good map. You should go on to make some better ones, practice shading with polyworks and make sure the polygons don;t overlap as much, try and make them meet on the lines. (i don;t know if you understand). Good luck with future maps.
Lol, internets.

It's good for a first map. And now, the critcism!

The texture you used looks okay on Fortress, but if you want to achieve some welcoming aesthetics, you must colour and shade it ( look at Cobra ): with the current low-scenery overall, it's pretty ugly. Experiment with what you have, you can always ctrl+z if you f*ck up. You have the polygons, but you don't have them coloured!

The layout. Look at the default DM maps, what do they have in common? The main fighting area is pretty much covered by a circular route around the map. This map has way too many bottlenecks where combat might end up dying, which would kill the flow of gameplay. If you're aiming for a good deathmatch-layout, open this in Paint, and re-define the pathways so that there's a clear route which leads perfectly arround the map. Place colliders near some ledges, and you're done with an okay DM map.

Additionally, you stretched the texture a bit too much in some places so they look pixelated and ugly.

Yeah. About the streched texture i sort of overlapped some polys there were little gaps and i just placed an massive poly over it to fill it up xD. Thanks for the advice everyone.
