peroxide works really well, don't let the blood dry or it will be really really hard to get out.

Haha, this reminds me of the book 'Contract' that my brother read. It has a hitman talking about how to remove blood and bullet holes..

But I'm afraid that I only remember the bullet hole part, not the blood.  :-[

For future reference, I'm pretty sure certain washing detergents (if not most of them) can get rid of bloodstains off clothing
