New Soldat Community

[UnFa!R]

Before i make it I'll ask it first!

I have i idea to create a own Php-Fusion builded Soldat Community

Included in that Community

- Forum ( Clan request, Introduction, Forum games, Soldat Support )
- Clan Database
- Polls ( Weekly )
- Activities ( Movie of the month, CTF-Tournament, Deathmatch Tourneyn, .. )

If Soldat.pl is agree with my request, then i'll build the website!
On that website will come a banner of Soldat.pl and the moust used public server!
I think the forum will be Default English to keep rest somme space on the FTP

Soldat.pl doesn't really have to agree since your just creating another Soldat Community. Also, there are so many of them that already do what you are proposing, like elitectf.

Elitectf does not run php-nuke, it runs SMF. It doesn't matter what you use to power / manage your community. In fact, you can pretty much do anything as long as it isn't against soldat in any way.

Belongs in the webpages section.  You don't have to ask to make a Soldat website.  People do it all the time.

Too many people try to start forums that serve the exact same purpose as the official ones.  If you're going to start a new community, you have to do something different

A new community sounds nice and stuff, but I doubt you're going to attract many people to it. Why not do something useful for these forums? Everybody knows these forums are in a dire need of something useful.

Don't you read any Machiavelli? If you want power in any place, you need three things: money, money and money. Bricks has moneys, Chibi has money, the selfkill crew have money, Enesce has money, Avarax has money, Leo has money, the finntwins have money, Suomip has money. They are the mainstream influental figures of this community.

How did they do it? They all brought up a good idea which withstood the test of time, and put their cash in for it aswell with paying for servers and forum services. The national communities mostly rely on some kind of sponsoring, and so do the leagues.

To sum it up: unless you have an ice-breaking idea and the fine amount of money to support it, starting a new community is imminent fail. Save yourself time and effort by thinking about this before starting.

A good 1v1 automated ladder is one thing that the NA Soldat community needs.  It is a project that I've had on my to-do list for quite some time, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
