Default ctf map race competition
« on: October 31, 2007, 10:48:13 am »
I`ve had this idea for a while now, since whenever I play a default map on some random server I can`t help but notice that I am, thanks to a lot of kick-jumping and rolling, the first to reach the middle of the map and the enemy flag. This gave me an idea for a little fun competition.

Just set the capture limit to 2 and the time limit to 10, choose some of the default ctf maps with no bots and try to beat `em as quickly as possible.  No weapons/nades allowed. And then post the times here!

Ctf_ash - 42 seconds
Ctf_maya - 1 minute 6 seconds

Starting from your flag, or your original spawn point?

35 seconds on Ash. I guess it's more fun when you play with a group. That way it isn't just repeat, repeat, repeat until you get a good time. :D

Quick stab at Run - 1 minute 8 seconds.
