It says it could have lactic effects if you consume too much.

Alot of mints can have laxative effects on your digestive system. I'm pretty sure Polo's do and possibly TicTacs... But only if you consume alot of them.

Peppermint tea actually has a transverse effect though, and can help slow down digestive transit.

I used to eat a bunch of tic tacs, cinnamon. I don't think it had laxative effects.

I do not consume such a large amount of mints that lactic effects will occur in my body... I'm relatively safe.

Hell, I use ONE PEPPERMINT at max if I need a mint, otherwise I just chew some mint gum.

Usually I'd chew on the mint candy and just spit out the juices. I still get fresh breath and I dont have to worry about an exploding anus

It's the Xylitol (sp?), it's normally only in Sugar Free mints though.... Actually, that's probably most mints nowadays.
