This is the same old bug many people have been talking about. Why do I repost it? Here it goes:
First, I think the support given to this bug has been awful. These are the possible answers:
- "restart, that should solve the problem"
- "try downloading it from another host"
- "reinstall it"
Seriously, this is so... no-sense. Sure, that might solve our problem (not mine, though), but if you notice, the solutions are plain stupid. Why don't you guys look for the true problem? Don't come to me with something like "your Windows is crap" or something like that. I've been experiencing this bug since 1.4.0, so it's something with the game itself. Calling the wrong variables, conflicts with Direct-X 9, I don't know, but the reason for this lies in you, not us. I solved my problem at home with Force Software, but the thing is it has failed before reinstalling Windows, and even after reinstallation on a other computers I've been with.
I beg you, please do something about it. It's not normal to solve this problem just by restarting, there must be something truly important going on beyond our eyes.
