Freakin' Vista.
« on: November 13, 2007, 06:10:25 pm »
The title says it all. I got a new computer a couple months ago, and I'm looking for time wasters to put on it. Well, this baby came with Vista already on it, and I didn't question it, but now I'm starting to hate it. I can't get some old games, and now Soldat won't work. I HATE IT.

Do you have any suggestions as to what I can do to make it work?

I'd recommend that you use XP until the Vista bugs have been ironed out.Though I do know one person who can play Soldat on Vista.

It should run fine on vista.

Right-click and choose "run as administrator". Even if you're an administrator you'll have to use that if you do not turn off the security. You can also check this option when going into the properties of the shortcut to allwasy run it as admin.
