Hey there, newbie Soldat mapper talkin ^^

Got 2 new maps that could use a little testing... CtF_Odd and Hmm
Basic description of maps:

CtF_Odd: Jungle, reversed CtF (you start at opposing teams flag), 3 ways to enemy base, lots of places to hide (camperwarning).

Hmm: Space, very small, a bit buggy, you can throw a grenade through most walls.


and also I need a quick tutorial on botpathing.

There's overview.

For first this is pretty good... The basics are fine with this one, I like bright poly colors. The middle way is the best and it looks kinda good. In fact  I did this kind of maps at very beginning. I think u should not look at bot waypoing tutorials yet. Waypointing takes more time than making this map. I think you should do a few maps more and then begin to read waypoint tutorials or learn urself.

Critics:
-Map is too high
-Also a bit too broad
-Bottom way is slow and not smooth
-Top way is too top. It really need climbing to get there, and this is no climb map, so its bad a thing
-Also you need a lot more polygons to make running interesting
-Probably this need more shading, I don't care but someone else cares

Might sound tough but keep on working :)
