Em. I think it's ok to wish money when you're a teenager but after that it should be gifts IMO. Also i would never give my parents money as a gift. It just seems wrong becuase they have it already and do not need more.

You're kidding, right? Everyone in the world can use more money (Except Bill Gates...)
Some people like to put thought into a gift. Money is the ultimate "I don't care enough about to you think" present. People that only give money are either stupid or lazy... most likely both.
:'( My grandpa always gives us money! Of course, he doesn't count because he isn't supposed to drive and unless we wanted something from QVC he wouldn't be able to get it.

I ask for money a lot of the time, mostly because no one person would ever buy me the super expensive electronic I really want.

I actually give my mom detailed instructions with alternatives in case best buy doesn't have what I want. She is awful at surprise presents

No, that's not true. I happen to think that money is a very good gift... (Cuz that's all I get from anyone other than my parents or brother... :P )

And they're either stupid, lazy, or clueless about what to get someone.

If I had to suggest something in particular for Blackdevil's sisters, I'd have no idea, as I have no sisters of my own, and I also don't know any of his family. Therefore, I recommend money.

And if you don't care enough to someone then that makes no sense.

I'm talking about giving money to your parents as a gift. I do not think it's a good present for them.

It's a good gift for teenagers.

OBEY!!!

Well, all I was saying is that anyone CAN USE more money, I'm not saying to not give it to them.

Out of everyone you know, you should know your parents the best along the lines of what they like... I mean hell, you've lived with them for [insert age here] years, have you not?

HAHA... yeah, i always attempt to ask for money but it doesnt always work because my family believes a surprise is better than money... pfft, i'll be surprised when i walk into the store and get what i really want.

My dad also sucks with surprises, i remember last year he got me that little remote control robot thing... robosapien, i felt sorry for him, so i played with it for a couple of days, pretending like i liked it, but now its just sitting on a shelf collecting dust. Im 18... what the hell am i going to do with a robot that talks, dances, burps and moves at 3 inches an hour.
