Music maker

Anyone know of easy to use programs that I can use to make music,

Sort of like windows movie maker, I put in when I want a note to play, with all kinds of instruments, mainly piano and synth.

I suck at finding what I want on the internet.

Just do this: Google Finale Notepad.

There you should find a free download for the Lite version of the program (It has Piano and Synth, so it'll work for what you want.) It is an awesome and easy-to-use program. Buying the FULL program will run you over $100... so yeah... go with the Lite, since it has the instruments you wanted.

I have a program called awetoy that lets you make music via keyboard. Download link at the bottom.

You can use the keyboard for playing notes with any program that supports MIDI input, you just need to install a virtual midi driver and then use some program that sends midi output from keyboard. There are some, I made my own program which i can configure the keyboard any way i like.

Sibelius 4 works like a charm, especially with Kontakt (sound database).

Well, had I known you had dial-up, I wouldn't have recommended it to you.

(I have dial-up too... so I know how bad it is... and mine's only 26k... :P)

My friend has broadband and he downloaded a file continuosly for four days.

Thats nothing, try 7 days, and when it was done, it was the wrong file.

I spent 6 days downloading a movie, and when it got finished, it said the damn thing was corrupted!
