Also, be aware that if you have a modem that itself supports NAT, you will have to configure it also.

Unless your router has the ability to be changed from gateway mode to plain routing mode so it functions like a switch/hub; Linksys routers have this ability.

I notice you mention that you don't know the IP of your router; without this it's impossible to setup your network to allow you to host.

I did the port forward thing, these are my settings:

Device     Allowed Applications     Application Type     Protocol     Port Number(s)     Public IP

your-cn2ccrvzt0     Soldat1     -     TCP     23073       69.232.99.19
                                  Soldat2      -     Â  TCP     Â  23083       69.232.99.19
                                  Soldat3     -     UDP     23073        69.232.99.19

I DID EXACTLY WHAT THE STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS TOLD ME TO DO.

i then ran a test to check everything.
and i still failed :(

From the IP of your router(192.168.1.254), it looks like you have multiple routers; possibly due to your modem itself being a router. This means you'll have to setup the other router(s) or modem as well.

no, that IP and that interface looks like a 2wire modem+router.  Odds are that he has a modem+router and nothing else.  I have a feeling he might be forwarding the ports to the wrong computer
